Award holder publishes report on religion and belief in higher education

Professor Paul Weller, Principal Investigator on Religion and Society funded project Religion and Belief, Discrimination and Equality in England and Wales, led a team investigating religion and belief at university for the Equality Challenge Unit and the project report has been released.

Religion in Education Event Success

25-26th July 2011 Warwick hosted a conference on 'Religion in Education' showcasing findings from research funded by the Religion and Society Programme. It was attended by over 100 delegates including participants from continental Europe as well as the UK.

Religious Courts Report Released

This report presents the findings from Religion and Society funded project ‘Social Cohesion and Civil Law: Marriage, Divorce and Religious Courts’ led by Professor Gillian Douglas at Cardiff University. It finds a Catholic, Jewish and Muslim court's authority deriving from religion rather than the state.
