Programme Director Linda Woodhead and Research Associate Rebecca Catto have edited the new book Religion and Change in Modern Britain published by Routledge this week: http://www.routledge.com/books/details/9780415575812/

This book offers a comprehensive guide to religion in postwar Britain. Written collaboratively by 39 leading scholars, it presents fresh analysis and new findings, including data from the £12m AHRC/ESRC Religion and Society research initiative.

Listen here to podcasts of authors discussing their contributions, including Religion and Society-award holders Sarah Johnsen and Paul Weller.

There will be a roundtable on the book at the BSA Sociology of Religion Study Group annual conference in Chester in March with Grace Davie, Shuruq Naguib, Kim Knott and Gordon Lynch (see http://www.socrel.org.uk/ for details), and it will be officially launched at the last in the series of the Westminster Faith Debates on 2 May: http://www.religionandsociety.org.uk/faith_debates/trends
