Religious and Secular Memories in Eastern and Western Europe Event

On 26th May 2011 Religion and Society funded project Memories of Religious and Secular Ceremonies, focused on changes in religious and secular beliefs and practices in Bulgaria, Romania, and England over the last seventy years, will be presenting preliminary findings at a one day conference at Southampton University.

Medieval Organ Recreation Success and Course Announced

The Religion and Society funded project The Experience of Worship in late Medieval Cathedral and Parish Church unveiled its first reconstruction of a medieval organ in Cardiff on 8-9th April 2011. Watch a clip from here and sign up for the project’s short course on ‘Medieval worship in a medieval cathedral’ running at Salisbury Cathedral in early May.
