Peta Ainsworth
I have worked at Lancaster University since 2002, carrying out a variety of administrative roles in The Graduate College, Theatre Studies Department and the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts.
I took up the post of Administrator for the AHRC/ESRC Religion & Society Programme in April 2007 and I’m responsible for co-ordinating and administering the information, activities, communications, budget, and events associated with the programme. I’m finding the job really interesting and varied. I’m currently organising a number of events, including a PhD Workshop in London in December with the Diasporas, migration and identities Programme.
My hobbies include cooking for & socialising with friends & family, walking my Border Terrier, Ollie, & reading. I’m married to Steve and have two teenage daughters, one of whom is an aspiring actress and the other is on a gap year following her A levels & going travelling in January. They keep me on my toes!
